Computerized Dentistry for Private Practice: Implants, Aesthetics and Occlusion

This presentation will review the current technology which allows the fabrication of an implant abutment without a fixture level impression.

In addition this impression does not require the removal of the healing abutment. The fabrication of ceramic full coverage restorations and veneers, with an in-office technique, will also be demonstrated. Occlusion principles will be discussed and analyzed as it relates to Ceramic, Implant and Cad/Cam restorations.

Dr Vafiadis received his Dental Degree and Prosthodontic specialty certificate from the New York University College of Dentistry. He is an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry and Coordinator of Implant Department at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Dr Vafiadis is a lecturer and clinical instructor at the Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry at NYU, on staff with the NYU Dental Continuing Education department as well as lecturing both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the ACP, AO, AAID, ICOI, AACD and the ADA while maintaining a private practice specializing in aesthetic implant dentistry.
